Soldering causes $40,000 blaze at Lindsay home (myKawartha.com)
Kawartha Lakes Fire officials say soldering too close to wooden beams started a $40,000 blaze in a Lindsay house on Friday (March 27). Assistant fire chief Pat Twohey said the fire started when the owner was soldering copper pipes in a crawl space in the house on Russell Street East.
