LAWRENCE Firefighters responded to an attic fire on Bailey Street this morning, forcing the evacuation of three families and causing damage to a third-floor apartment. Lawrence Fire Department Investigator Lt. Paul Reitano said the 3 a.m. fire at 155-157 Bailey St. was started when an electrical cable in the crawl space above a finished apartment ignited some cellulose insulation.
